A large precious stone and silver-gilt flower model by Asprey

Crafted in fine Faberge style, this piece is a very large precious stone flower model by Asprey, London, with five silver-gilt stems, which are set with nephrite leaves, and surmounted by crystalline ruby roses. At almost half a meter in height – an exceptional size for a piece of this style and quality – it is mounted in a crystal vase, which simulates water, and which is engraved ‘Asprey / London.’ A single gilt band sits around the neck of the vase, draping down into two strands of small gilt chains. Few pieces in this style can rival this work for size, quality, and execution.
