Object Description
A late Regency brass-inlaid mahogany Wellington chest attributed to Gillows, of rectangular form with a porphyry top above seven leather-inset drawers, the top one with a hinged front opening to reveal five pigeon holes, the corners with hinged flaps disguising the locking mechanism, decorated with restrained brass stringing, all raised on shaped plinth with disguised castors.
