Object Literature

Chesterfield sofas share a complex history, alongside the elite, the privileged and aristocrats. History reveals that these types of couches have been commonly used in the confines of old institutions, government buildings and luxurious homes for generations. A room, in the 1900’s, would not be complete, unless the master owns a Chesterfield sofa.

A quality country pile carcass, now a blank canvas for a fabric of your choice.

Object Condition

The upholstery is mid twentieth century and is in tired condition so would really need replacing, which our upholsterer can do for you. Some of the castors need a little attention via adjustments and this can be done at the same time.
