The serpentine-edged circular top inlaid in specimen marbles with shells and marine motifs, centred by an octopus within concentric bands of contrasting stones. Raised on a central column and spreading base faced in matching marbles. A richly decorative table reflecting the maritime character of Maltese workshop production of the period.
