Object Description
Circa 1860. A mid Victorian burr walnut and satinwood and ormolu mounted credenza, the shaped top in the finest burr walnut, with crossbanded, beading and a burr walnut molded fore-edge, the frieze with satinwood panels, the front with a pair of mirror doors, the two sides with curved glazed doors, all with fine beadings, with gilded brass mounts on the top and the bottom between all the doors, the gables with similar beadings and panels as the front, all resting on an enclosed plinth which follows the form of the top with inlay to the front.
