A Most Unusual William IV Library Table
Constructed using flamed San Domingo mahogany, the leather-lined rectangular top with lambs tongue carved moulding, supported on a single pedestal raised on a plinth, enclosing a cupboard, the doors to either side fitted with a Bramah lock and applied with a central carved boss below a frieze of running anthemia, the sides of the pedestal having scrolled volutes to the bottom and spandrels with further scrolled ornament.
