A Pair of Gilt-Bronze Mounted Chinese Blue-Ground Porcelain Vases.
These gilt-bronze mountings conceived in the Louis XVI style and dating to the 1870s. The vases Chinese, 19th century.
The vases with slender necks and elephant head handles above a baluster body with brown-matte ceramic band with, to one, geometric relief ground and, to the other, dragons. On a gilt-bronze laurel cast foot. One vase has an oval-shaped firing flaw to one side.
