Object Description
A pair of late 16th/ early 17th century carved oak panels.
The panels are superbly carved, and depict two birds set within wreaths, each facing opposite directions.
Below the birds are mirrored wyvern type beasts, each sticking their tongues out at each other.
The panels are in good condition for their age, with only some small areas of wood worm damage.
Both the panels have a superb untouched patina.
