A Pair of Louis XVI Style Occasional Tables
Mahogany veneered throughout and dressed with gilt bronze mounts, the tables having slender cabriole legs with cloven sabots and foliate espagnolettes, joined by an undertier; the panelled apron with stiff leaf borders and a lockable oak-lined frieze drawer fronted with an ormolu escutcheon; an ormolu guard framing the quarter-veneered top.
