Object Description

Circa 1770. A pair of mahogany, satinwood, fruitwood and marquetry corner (quadrant-shaped) in the manner of ‘Ince and Mayhew’. The bow-front tops with quarter fans, ribbon-tied husk, swags and foliate scrolls within the border above the friezes with concealed drawers, inside of each there is a trade label for ‘Frank Partridge, St James & New York’. The frieze with parquetry inlay, and a wavy inlaid apron, raised on inlaid square tapering legs terminating with brass castors and ball feet.
