A Pair of Regency Period Bergères
After a Design by Thomas Sheraton
Constructed from rosewood, the chairs with curved backs supported on reeded front legs and splayed legs to the rear, each with brass casters, the front rail blocks with carved paterae, issuing scrolling lappet volutes and exposed solid rosewood backrails. Each chair stamped with the journeyman’s initals “I.M.”
