From our collection of Japanese box-wood carved Okimono, this dramatic depiction of a fearsome Temple Guardian. The powerful figure stands in the traditional “Guardian” pose, its mouth open signifying the start of life.

It holds a natural wood staff, (an unusual accessory for Nio.)
