Object Description
Circa 1890. A large Qing Dynasty Chinese Huanghuali marble topped, two tier plant stand. The pink variegated marble insert contained in a shaped foliate carved frame with well carved fore edge, with a profusely carved and pierced frieze with typical Chinese motifs, with a solid shelf beneath. The whole piece rests on four carved legs with a dragon face on the top, foliate carving and finishing on a primitive animal foot.
