Object Description
A rare and unusual Indian cupboard made for the Dutch or English market, shaped as an irregular hexagon in section, with two stepped tiers of drawers and cupboards surmounted by an arrangement of small shaped drawers and central arched door under an ogee pediment, made in solid satinwood and mahogany, the edging and delicate ball and claw feet in ebony, the drawers with cedar linings. Circa 1820.
