Object Description
A very rare and attractive nest of late Regency rosewood tables attributed to Gillows.
English Circa 1825.
Of superb quality and construction, the nest of three tables having rectangular Rio Rosewood tops with applied mouldings, held by beautifully shaped and carved supports consisting of back to back āCā scrolls joined by shaped stretchers raised on double āCā scroll feet.
Very rare to find a nest of tables with supports like these, being of such quality and incorporating this design they are firmly attributed to the famous cabinet makers Gillows of Lancaster.
