An important and rare pair of George III carved Chippendale period giltwood mirrors, Circa 1750-1760. England

The mercury looking glass sits within a delicate leaf, scroll and rocaille carved giltwood frame with floral swags, centred by a lively asymmetric Rococo scrolling crest.

Object Condition

Wear consistent with age and use. The mirrors are in lovely condition. Minor refreshing to gilding. Mirror plates possibly replaced
