Object Description
A small lobed oval tortoiseshell piqué patch pot, the hinged lid with a beribboned garland of flowers round a flowerhead incised oval, raised on four fleur-de-lys feet. English, assay marks R&S, Birmingham, 1911.
Piqué work is identified by the presence of metals, usually gold and silver, set into materials such as tortoiseshell or ivory. A CITES licence will be supplied for any item being exported from the UK.
