Object Description
A very fine Sapphire & Diamond Victorian/Georgian Cluster ring in 18ct Yellow Gold (tested) and Silver, centrally “Collet Set” with an “Oval Cut” Natural Untreated Ceylon Sapphire estimated as 2.50 Carats (unweighted), surrounded by 28 “Pave and Rub-over” set “Old Round and Rose Cut” Diamonds in a horizontal Marquise shape. The bottom half of the setting and shank are 18ct Yellow Gold and mid- Victorian, while the top of the setting and stones are set in Silver and High Carat Yellow Gold and is Georgian Circa 1800.
Accompanied by an Independent Gemological Report confirming the stones assessment.
It should be noted that untreated Sapphires are rare.
