Object Description
A very fine Scrolling Diamond Dress-Clip / Brooch in 18 Carat Yellow Gold (marked), in an Architectural Scrolling stylized design. This extraordinary Brooch is centrally Collet set with a fine ‘Old Cut’ Diamond estimated as 0.60 Carats, G Colour and VS1 Clarity with three ‘Channel Set Diamond’ Ribbon designs scrolling upwards from the central Diamond and two similar designs to the foot of the scroll, these Ribbons are set with 34 ‘Old Round Cut’ Diamonds estimated at 0.76 Carats, F – G Colour and VS – SI Clarity. The reverse of the Brooch has a double pin, sprung hinged fastener and an unidentifiable maker’s mark.
