A very fine Victorian High Carat (tested),Yellow Gold, Silver tipped Pendant.
The central raised-claw set, round cut Amethyst, surrounded by an open-worked quatrefoil design set with 16 Old Cut Diamonds, suspended from a Diamond set articulated bale.
