Object Description
Circa 1910. Adam style mahogany serving or hall table by Maple’s and Co. The bow fronted crossbanded top in figured Spanish mahogany with fore-edge carved with neoclassical roundels above central frieze drawer with carved urns and fluted decorations and two side drawers with fluted and beaded decorations. All supported on tapering fluted legs with patera carved capitals and spade supports. Traditionally restored and in perfect condition. Maples and Co, were preeminent London cabinet makers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries that made Georgian revival furniture such as this serving table. Their furniture is always of the highest quality made by expert cabinetmakers using the finest materials.
