Object Description
Circa 1800. An Adam style mahogany serving table. Rectangular top with wonderful figured mahogany with simple fore edge. The configuration to the front in the frieze is one long drawer flanked by two shorter drawers. The large drawer has a breakfront section including a swag and tails either side. Each of the drawers has circular pull rings with a pressed circular back plate, with an oval carved section separating each of the drawers. The table rests on six elegant legs, each carved with an oval patrae on the front and sides, reeded facings and tapering with a shaped block with foot beneath.
