Object Description
Circa 1880, exhibition quality Adams style mahogany games table or hall table. The top with a bead-decorated serpentine front and sides in figured Spanish mahogany opens to a cross-banded green baize lined interior. The frieze with crisply-carved beaded, fluted and scrolled decorations flanked by oval paterae. Supported on square tapering legs with trailing bellflower decorations over spade toes.
