Classical Dancing Faun, with wonderful golden patina after the antique original from the Medici collection of Cosimo III. Housed on the second floor of the Uffizi, the originals missing head was re-carved by Michelangelo “in such a manner as to leave little room to lament the loss of the old one”. Our faun standing clad in a lions pelt.
