Object Description
An 18th century folk art chair , probably Austrian.
Constructed from fruitwood, the chair has carved back depicting a double headed and crowned eagle, with a love heart through the centre. The shaped seat with moulded edge is supported by four fine reeded legs.
The chair has had some minor wood worm damage and some minor restorations, but over is in excellent condition and has an amazing patina.
