From our collection of antique Japanese metalwork, this characterful Bronze Okimono depicting a Monkey as a human Scholar.

The Monkey, standing and attached to a square base, holds aloft a ribbon in his right hand, whilst his left hand is clutching a fan. A tired expression on his face.
