Object Description
An Anglo Indian hardwood carved settee. The domed back rail is carved with a deep gadrooning, and the seat rails with a stylised strigilation, the sides are also deeply carved a guilloche pattern. The settee has scroll legs at the front and sabre ones at the back.
India circa 1860.
Height of back 38 inches, height of seat 17 inches, depth 31 inches, width 52 inches.
