Object Literature

Chesterfield sofas share a complex history, alongside the elite, the privileged and aristocrats. History reveals that these types of couches have been commonly used in the confines of old institutions, government buildings and luxurious homes for generations. A room, in the 1900’s, would not be complete, unless the master owns a Chesterfield sofa.

An ever so comforting old-school delight.

Object Condition

The silvery moss green coloured upholstery is delightfully soft and in good overall order considering it is the original fabric and it proves nicely worn with a handful of minor blemishes and stains as per the photographs, whilst to the underside it has been re-webbed so the sofa does not require any attention and is ready to use.
