From our collection of antique Japanese Ceramics and signed Kinkozan, this attractive classical square-tapered form Satsuma vase dating to around 1880.
The shape of the vase lends itself to the beautifully painted sweeping riverside landscapes and portraits of Bijin that appear on each of the four sides. Popular Japanese subjects such as Cherry Blossom, Mount Fuji, elegant buildings nestled in the landscape and beautifully decorated Kimono feature.
