Circa 1900, an exhibition quality walnut wardrobe by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh, of serpentine breakfront outline with an elegant stylish moulded cornice above a pair of doors with strap work and foliate inlay, opening to sliding trays, above three long drawers with elegant hardware, flanked by long cupboards with hanging spaces and a base drawer with mirror-backed doors, all resting on an elegant base with a shaped apron, raised on classic ‘Sir Robert Lorimer’ feet finishing with an elegant pad foot.
