Object Description
An exquisite Aquamarine and natural Seed Pearl 15ct.(tested) Yellow Gold Edwardian Necklace in the “Negligee” style with gold worked foliate relief. The central pendant drop contains two Seed Pearls, two collet set oval faceted Aquamarines and one round faceted Aquamarine; the lower two Aquamarines are suspended from articulated drops. The central section of this lovely necklace is flanked on either side by a “knife edge” articulated drop (two in total), which are each collet set with two round faceted Aquamarines and one central Gold bead, these (in turn) are flanked by two open strapwork elongated lozenge designs, each with a single Seed Pearl (two in total). The very fine necklace chain extends to encompass the whole design with four graduated swags and the necklace fastens via a traditional sprung clasp.
