Object Description
An exceptional example of a very fine Victorian Diamond Starburst Brooch (convertible to a Pendant), generously set with graduated “Old Circular-Cut” Diamonds set in in a “Rose Gold” Silver tipped mount. The central ‘Old Cut’ Diamond is estimated to be 0.80 Carats, H Colour & VS1 Clarity, the additional (64) “Old Cut” Diamonds are assessed as being of 7.50 Carats, H – I Colour & VS – SI Clarity (total Diamond weight 8.30 Carats). This beautiful Pendant Brooch is complete with a detachable brooch fitting and an “En tremblant” sprung and adjustable hair fitting. This piece comes complete with an original fitted silk and velvet case.
