An Ottoman mother-of-pearl, tortoiseshell and bone inlaid scribe’s table Turkey, 18th/ 19th Century
Of rectangular form with cusped spandrel to back and front, the sides with bracket feet flanking openwork palmette motif, decorated in mother-of-pearl, tortoiseshell, bone and marquetry woods with six-pointed stars, interlace of tulips and flowerheads, lozenge and circle bands, and chevron borders.
