Object Literature

The Anchor has long been a symbol of stability. It is believed that it became a symbol of hope with early Christians. Seafarers saw the anchor as the only way to survive a rough sea and the Anchor would give the early seafarers a sense of hope to survive an angry storm.

Perfect for a nautical themed interior.

Object Condition

The condition of the lamp is good overall with a nice pitted patination to the sea-worn anchor itself, with the rest of the composition having general wear; and is in working order.
