Object Description
A very fine, ancient Egyptian alabaster bowl with a rounded base and a carinated profile. The walls lead to a wide flaring mouth with a flattened rim. The vessel displays the varying colours and hues of veined alabaster. The shades of natural cream, brown and red display ancient Egypt’s fine alabaster craftsmanship. The shape of the bowl is reminiscent of Meidum bowls, that were popular during that period.
