Object Description
A fine, ancient Egyptian restrung necklace composed of blue faience and red jasper beads.The necklace initially consists of long, tubular turquoise faience beads, interspersed with small, discoid, brown faience beads. The necklace then diverges into a double stranded formation, featuring ridged turquoise faience beads, joined into small sections by a double-pierced bead. Three red circular jasper beads appear at regular intermissions. The necklace has been finished with a modern gold-plated clasp.
