Ancient Egyptian Hellenistic Glass Bar Inlay Group

Object Description

A group of four delicate ancient Egyptian glass feather bar inlays with hues of yellow, black, white, purple and red. Each features a combination of two vibrant colours and displays fine lines, adding texture to the pieces. These inlays would have been created using incredibly precise techniques and careful craftsmanship.

Lengths of the inlays vary from 1.5cm to 2.4cm.

Object Condition

Fine condition. Slight earthly encrustations to the surfaces. Chipped end to one of the inlays.
