Ancient Egyptian Terracotta Wedjat Mould

Object Description

A large Ancient Egyptian terracotta mould of a wedjat eye. The recessed eye displays the brow bone, almond-shaped eye and is flanked by a cobra with a sun disc above.

Date: Circa 1550-1070 BC
Period: New Kingdom Period

Object Condition

Excellent condition, some encrustation to the surface.
