Object Description
A large, ancient Egyptian, turquoise faience amulet, modelled in the shape of a djed pillar. The pillar has a thin shaft that slightly flares at the base, and the top displays a ribbed pattern with four, horizontal protrusions. The pillar’s reverse features a flat unworked surface. There is a ridged loop at the top for suspension, which is now blocked.
