Object Description
A magnificent ancient Greek, core-formed, blue glass oinochoe with a trefoil lip. The item is made from vivid, opaque turquoise glass, its wide body decorated with a band of yellow and white zig-zagging lines. Two straight, yellow bands border this pattern. The small oinochoe presents a short, cylindrical neck which leads into a wide, trefoil mouth. A yellow glass trail covers the rim of the lip. A large turquoise glass handle curves from the rim to the shoulders of the vessel.
Measurements given below include the height of the stand. The vessel itself measures 7.9cm height.
