A fine restrung Ancient Roman black glass and hardstone beaded necklace. The body of the necklace is comprised of varying small spherical and discoid shaped beads which increase in size towards the pendant. The beads display attractive striations and textures. A pendant is formed from a stack of three larger beads; a black glass discoid bead, a large square hardstone and a triangle-shaped glass bead through which the necklace is threaded.
