Object Description
A pair of Roman gold earrings featuring an open hoop that curls outwards formed from a single gold wire. On each end of the earring there is a small suspension loop, in which a modern gold stud earring has been threaded through, to allow for wear. Each earring presents two pearl beads perched upon layers of granulation, further enriching the piece. Some earthly encrustation and glue residue around the pearls.
