Object Description
An unusual horn snuff box with a panelled tortoiseshell lid, having a most unusual feature of a circular inset brass rimmed compass. The body is of rectangular form and the full length hinged lid is very slightly warped to one end, showing a small gap between the lid and the base. The whole has a pleasing contrasting colour.
