Object Description
An exceptionally fine quality large padouk wood jointing plane, having a top and handle with lines of steel pique decoration, centered with a six pointed star. The steel blade is stamped J. D. Pallett & Co. warranted cast steel. The hand grip at the end is of ebony with a central walrus ivory inlay. The grain, colour and patination is excellent.
