Object Description
This is a charming Anglo-Indian silver gentleman’s walking stick circa 1880 in date.
The cane features an exquisite silver pommel deeply chased with a naively decorated tiger, a hound, an elephant and oxen among a hut and trees. The top is elegantly engraved with the bearer’s initials “IG”, on a sturdy hardwood ebonized tapering shaft fitted with it’s original ferrule.
