Antique architectural Victorian period brass four-light lantern
English, late 19th Century
Dimensions: Height 94cm, width 39cm, depth 39cm
Finely crafted from patinated brass and glass, this four-light lantern is architecturally designed in the late Victorian style. The four sides of the lantern are formed as glazed arched windows, with fluted pilasters to the corners. Below, a balustrade balcony connects the four pilasters, and above, the lantern is surmounted by a pyramid-shaped roof. Each corner of the roof is topped with finials, and the very top features a ring for hanging.
