Object Description
Exceptional Arts & Crafts cast iron and brass dog grate, the large lion’s paw feet support turned posts which terminate in 10″ diameter fretted discs decorated with stylised pomegranates and flowers. The cast iron fireback is decorated with a rosette.Reputed to be from the estate of Sir Frederick Mappin (father of Sheffield) died 1910.
