wonderful rustic country house antique Bidjar carpet, dating from 1890-1900 this carpet is full of character and fantastic natural colours. In general it is in good condition, with some areas of lower pile, but generally Bidjar’s are known for their toughness and this one still has plenty of life left. With that the pile height is medium high and the original red outer borders are still showing which frame the carpet.
With the rich reds, pale blues and golden yellow tones, this carpet is perfect for a wood floor and will brighten a space with its rustic charm. Ideal for a country house, in an entrance hall, under a dining table or in a study for example.
