Object Description
Antique Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set with one central oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 2.74 carats, encircled by a single row of fourteen round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate total weight of 1.20 carats, to an elegant oval coronet cluster design with intricately pierced gallery, shaped backholing and flanked by tri-part scrolling shoulders which flow through to a square shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by Gem & Pearl Lab report #05612.
