Antique diamond and ruby target ring. Centrally set with a round transitional cut diamond, F colour, VS1 clarity with an approximate weight of 2.46 carats, in an open back rubover settting, encircled by a single row of twenty tapered baguette cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, to an elegant target cluster design, featuring millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the raised shoulders flowing to a solid shank with ridged detail. Marked platinum, numbered ‘13049’, French, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (G.I.A.) report #6217272186.
